Tree Removal -Emerald Ash Borer

You may notice trees being removed from the parks and around the area. Don't be Alarmed!

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a destructive insect that harms ash trees.

The City of St. Francis was awarded a grant to eradicate the Emerald Ash Borer by removing all ash trees on public lands and replacing them with a non-disease tree species to keep a diverse tree canopy.
